You know what S O S means. We need your help, and we need it now.
Your Fort Worth Airpower Council/Foundation is embarrassed to state that we have dropped the ball.
That is the Sky Ball!!!
This year’s SkyBall VII is the best-organized, most entertaining, high-level event we have ever hosted. (Just look at the attached flyer.) Yet our membership support has fallen to embarrassingly low levels. Our reputation as the leading national military support organization is at stake.
If we don’t hold up our end of this challenge, our major backers may withdraw support for future SkyBalls. Not a threat -- just fact.
Our SkyBall mission is “About The Families.” That’s pure and simple. We can’t ask others to do what we are not willing to do.
PLEASE, don’t take this lightly. There are many military families depending on our continuing support. We need you to buy a table, or at least by a few seats. You might ask four other couples to join you to make up a table. Just make up your mind that our goal is worth it, and PLEASE do it. Details for ordering are at: http://www.fwapc.org/skyball.htm
Here’s the best offer in the metroplex: If you purchase seats or tables for SkyBall VII, and can honestly state, when it’s over, that you don’t feel you got your money’s worth: tell us, and we will refund your money.
