ARMED FORCES BOWL

Despite the less than best Texas weather, the crowds filled Amon G. Carter Stadium for the annual Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl. Our Fort Worth Airpower Foundation was among the sponsors of the event.

The Air Force Academy Falcons owned the day by besting the Houston Cougars by the score of 47 to 20, despite being the underdogs in this event.

Our hosts, Bell Helicopter, made the day even better at their suite where they served food and beverages indoors to their guests throughout the game. This gave our FWAPC members a chance to mingle with the military and their families who were there as guests. FWAPC aided in distributing free tickets to military personnel at the base.
